Chinese and Fedora Core 2

Fedora Core 2 has been released finally. I successfully install the Chinese environment under Fedora Core 2 following the method in my piror article Chinese under English Locale.

Don’t patch the files /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/xinput and /etc/gtk-2.0/gtk.immodules directlly. Coz the files have been upgraded in FC2.

    I am curious how could you make that. Could you let me know a little bit detail? I tried several times but I found that SCIM did not work under FC2, also the IIimf seems bugy at this moment. Thanks in advance

    I’ve tried several times without any trouble. May be because I didn’t select the Chinese locale during the FC2 installation.

    And I’m using SCIM 0.8.2.
